Roadshow Recertification clinics for 2019 will be held in the North this year. This is your chance to attend the FIRST recertification in your area! Make sure you mark your calendar.

Three convenient locations: Huntsville, Gadsden and Birmingham on July 28-29. The information is published in our Clinics Section. Our instructor will be Chuck Locke, Colorado National Referee/Mentor, Former National Referee. Member of National Instructional Satff


ODP Referee Training Camp:
The ODP camp for players and officials is held in Alabama each year. There are 3 girl's sessions held in Montevalo, and 2 boys sessions held in Tuscaloosa.
Some of the confirmed instructors for the girl’s camps: Jason Anno, Chris Mercado, Mike Lavergne, Rachel Woo, Amanda Ross, Rubiel Varquez, Jose Da Silva. Some of the confirmed instructors for the boy’s camps: Brandon Marion, Danny Thornberry, Leland Grant, Lance VanHaitsma, Chris Penso and Ben Wooten.

There is no cost to attend the camp. Referees are provided dorm rooms, all meals and the Alabama SRC pays a mileage stipend. Your only investment is your time. These games do not pay a referee fee. Typically referees get in-class training followed by on the field mentoring.

Girls Camps in Montevallo, AL Camp Administrator: Jason Anno
· Friday July 6 - Tuesday July 10 (13's)
· Wednesday July 11 - Sunday July 15 (14's)
· Tuesday July 17 - Saturday July 21 (15's/16's)

Boys Camps in Tuscaloosa, AL Camp Administrators: Brandon Marion
· Sunday July 8 - Thursday July 12 (14', 15's, 16's)
· Friday July 13 - Tuesday July 17 (17's/13's)

You must be at least 16 years old to attend. You can attend multiple sessions either girls or boys or both. Our preference is that you commit to all days within a session. If you cannot attend a full session, provide your availability. Typically, check-in is at 2PM on the first day of the camp, and check-out is in late afternoon.
More information will be provided of the selected individuals.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON US SOCCER REFEREE PROGRAM FOR 2015

For the 2015 registration year all National Candidates and National Officials will be selected directly by the U.S. Soccer Referee Selection Panel. National Candidates, tracked as Referees and Assistant Referees, will be designated as Grade 5 National Candidates for 2015. National Officials, also tracked as Referees and Assistant Referees, will be designated as Grade 4 National Officials for 2015.

The 2015 selection and certification process will be processed in two phases, beginning with the administrative requirements. The window for completing the administrative requirements will open on Sept. 1 and close on Nov. 30. The National Candidate and National Official 2015 Certification Instructions document contains detailed steps that an official will need to complete.

If you are planning to apply to be a Grade 5 National Candidate or Grade 4 National Official for 2015, please carefully review this document. Any questions regarding the registration process in Salesforce can be directed to Rachel Lawrence. Other questions regarding the National Candidate and National Official 2015 Certification can be directed to Katie Bosley.
